Barrier-Free Forest Trail is a smooth path that has been constructed for wheelchair users and those with baby strollers to hike Gwanaksan Mountain easily. It largely consists of two courses: the first course ‘Circular Forest Trail’ offers a hiking experience for visitors to walk along the easy slope path being surrounded by a thick nut pine forest while enjoying the refreshing phytoncide scent; and the second course is ‘Hiking Forest Trail’ which has a zigzag uphill road up to Yeollyeoam so visitors can enjoy surrounding scenic views.
Major points along the trail have five rest zones for visitors to take a rest while hiking. Entrance Plaza has a free charging station for electric wheelchairs, so that hikers with disabilities can hike more comfortably.Along the Barrier-Free Forest Trail, handrails and braille signposts are installed for visitors with visual disabilities.
